Zoe Saldana Is One Mean Pregnant Lady!

Don’t ever get on Zoe Saldana’s bad side. Unfortunately, the “media” learned that the hard way! The gorgeous Guardian of the Galaxy star recently took to twitter to air her grievance.

Screen Shot 2014-07-26 at 9.51.25 PM

YIKES! Clearly, the expecting actress is pretty pissed that everyone knows she’s pregnant. But the confusing part is that she’s been practically flaunting her baby bump during all the press events for her new film.

And on top of that, SHE confirmed the news of her pregnancy to The Hollywood Reporter (aka The Media).

But maybe she’s not mad that we found out the worst kept secret in Hollywood — perhaps she’s pissed at the so called “insider” that told E! she was expecting twins!

Multiple sources confirm to E! News exclusively that the 36-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy star is expecting two bundles of joy with her husband of one year, Italian artist Marco Perego. “She’s thrilled!” an insider says.

Either way, we forgive Zoe for spazzing out and we wish her a healthy and happy pregnancy.

Sexy or Nah? Omarion’s Girlfriend Bares Her Baby Bump On The Red Carpet

Before folks entered the theater for a private screening of Lucy on Wednesday, they got quite a show when Omarion’s girlfriend, Apryl Jones showed up flaunting her lovely lady bump.

But, this isn’t the first time the beautiful baby mama bared her bump…just check out her Instagram page. Apryl, who is set to deliver a baby boy later this year, posts a plethora of preggo pics parading her uncovered stomach.

So, the question is, do you think flaunting a bare bump all around town is ok? Sound off below!

3 Reasons Why You Should Attend Club MomMe’s Best Of Products Series

Ummm, why didn’t you guys tells me how awesome Club MomMe was?!

I just joined the “MomMe” club and honestly, I didn’t know much about their “Best Of Products” series — boy, was I missing out. I felt like I was a little late to the rodeo since my little Charlie B is already one year old, but whether you get on board before birthing your baby or not until your little one is darn near grown, there’s something for you.

For the LA stop, the MomMe’s held their “Best Of Product” series featuring Baby Gizmo at the super cute “Right Start” baby store. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by Club MomMe’s co-founder Rachel, a bevy of beautiful moms and moms-to be and products galore, which brings me to my first reason why the “BOP” series is a MUST!

1. It is an amazing opportunity to meet other #SASYmoms. Everyone was so nice and excited to meet new people. We moms have got to stick together.

2. Knowledge is power. From strollers to car seats, Baby Gizmo (a.k.a Hollie) knows her ish and has no bias when it comes to the products she reviews.

photo 3

Baby Gizmo dishing the deets on this daddy diaper bag.

3. I WON A UBBI DIAPER PAIL!!! (it’s red and totally matched my shoes!!!)

I didn’t even know a raffle was a part of the event and before you know it my number was called. I wasn’t the only winner though, some mommies and daddies walked away with a stroller, car seat, bottles, toys and much, much more. I promise you, almost the entire crowd had some sort of parting gift…PLUS, a gift bag, too. Can you tell I love freebies? 🙂

Overall, the “Best Of Products” series was fantastic. I met some pretty cool #SASYmoms, got some much needed info on car seats (we’re replacing the one we currently have) and walked away with a new diaper pail, which we desperately needed. I will definitely be back for the next one.

Daddy-Daughter Dance…The Remix

Forget what you thought you knew about father/daughter dances because it’s been totally remixed.

Daddy of the year nominee, London Johnson, threw caution to the wind and decide to let his baby girl, Lil London choreograph a dance routine for them to perform.

Set to Ariana Grande’s smash hit “Problem”, the daddy/daughter duo put in some serious work — that is until big London couldn’t keep up. The fun father posted the clip on Facebook with the caption, “Tired As Ever, DanceN Wit My Jr Lil London(7) …. All Choreography By Lil London.”

More Proof That Zoe Saldana Is Preggo!

Who does Zoe Saldana think she’s fooling? The actress has stayed mum on the recent rumors that she is pregnant, but the proof is in the photos.

Screen Shot 2014-07-22 at 4.21.31 PM

While at the premiere of her new film, Guardians of the Galaxy, Zoe snapped this picture of herself and her sister…but all we can see is that little baby bump! Below is another pic from the premiere and again we see bump — although she tried really hard to distract us with the weird, white belt thingy.

Screen Shot 2014-07-22 at 4.21.57 PM

But this snapshot may be the most convincing evidence.

Screen Shot 2014-07-22 at 4.22.53 PM

Totally preggo, right?

Although Saldana hasn’t confirmed the news, we’re still going to wish her and her hubby of one year, Marco Perago, a huge congratulations! Welcome to the #SASYmom club, Zoe!

Marissa Winokur & Jacob Hopkins Support KidZone Anniversary

Good food, good people, good times!

KidZone celebrated their one year anniversary Sunday afternoon with a fun-filled bash that included snow cones, faux tattoos, a pretty dope DJ and, of course, tons of playtime. There were even a few famous faces that came out to show support. Hairspray actress and Dancing With The Stars alum, Marissa Winokur stopped by with her son, Zev. The Amazing World of Gumball star Jocob Hopkins also showed up and signed a few autographs for his fans.

I can tell you first-hand the event was a blast. I brought my hubby and daughter and we all had a ball. Plus, I got to check out KidZone for the first time. Typically, my baby girl and I participate in Gymboree’s Play & Learn class every weekend, and I was expecting KidZone to be more of the same…well, I was wrong. The equipment at KZ is a bit more advance then Gymboree, which is great for my growing girl. Also, Gymboree classes are lead by an instructor with optional open gym during specific hours…KidZone is all open gym, all the time. KZ also offers birthday parties (like Gymboree), camps and PNO (Parents Night Out)…all of which have VERY competitive prices. They only draw back? — they only have one location and it’s in West Hills, CA. Luckily, they’re looking to expand in the near future.

Take a look at some pictures from Sunday’s event below and if you get a chance, check out KidZone and tell us what you think!

SASY Mom Of The Week: Jessica Jonas

Meet Jessica Jonas — our first ever “SASY Mom of the Week”! She’s beautiful, hard-working, ambitious and a hands-on mom of THREE…a.k.a #SASY!

We did a fun little Q&A with JJ…take a look below.

What makes you a SASY Mom?
I love being with my kids more than anything. I love being the one to drop them off at school and pick them up. I love taking them to classes and hosting play dates. I love tucking them in at night and waking up with them (even in the middle of the night). But I think the most important part of being a mom and SASY mom at that, is knowing when you need a break. And, taking time for yourself, so you can be a better mom. I try really hard to do that. And, to teach my kids that it’s ok to just play at home. It’s ok to not have a plan. The best things happen that way!

What is your favorite thing to do with your kids? How about without them?
Since my 3 kids all have different interests, I tend to do stuff individually with them. My oldest son, who is 7, loves to make a yummy treat like chocolate chip cookie bars and watch a movie with me. My daughter, who is 5, loves a mommy mani/pedi day or a trip to the Grove for lunch and shopping. And, my 14-month-old son, and I love to go to our gym class together. If I’m with all 3, we love to go swimming, everyone loves the water or we have a great time going to West Hollywood Park and the Library, there is something for everyone.

When I am alone, which is something I try to do at least once a week – my absolute favorite thing to do is go to yoga. I love U Studio Yoga or Hollywood Power Yoga. I feel like a new person after one of those classes and truly believe it helps me to be a better mom, if I’ve gotten my yoga in!

Not only are you a SASY mom, but you kick butt in business, too! Tell our readers about your company and why you do what you do.
My company, MomciergeLA is a Baby Planning firm. I have a fabulous partner, named Stephanie Bressler and we work with expectant parents to help them register, organize and prepare for their babies’ arrival. We’re gear specialists, being that we have tried everything under the sun with our kids, we can make strong suggestions on what you need and what you absolutely don’t want to waste time on. We blog frequently on our site,, so look for us there and like us on Facebook to follow what we’re up to.

And since we’re, we have to ask…what is your favorite pair of stilettos?!
Although, stilettos are fabulous – being a full time mom of 3 kids, I wear flats. My favorites are TOMS, Soludos, Tieks and Sam Edelmans. In the summer, my Haviana flip-flops are my go-to staple.

We just love JJ, don’t you? Make sure you check her out at and if you know of any SASY moms you’d like to nominate send us an email at and we might just feature them!

Mama Gotta Have A Life Too: Tips For A Fun Night With The Girls!

Some mamas only get out with their girls once a year, while others make it an once a month occurrence…and some make it a once a week thing (no judgement here!). No matter which category you fall into, when you go out you have to make the most of your baby free time. Here’s a few ideas that go beyond the same old bar/club options.

1. Work out…or better yet, “TwerkOut”.
While the phrase “twerking” has been overused and completely played out, twerking to get in shape has taken the place of last year’s favorite workout, pole dancing. While I’ll admit, I hopped on the pole for fun (and I still enjoy it…just take a look at this >, I think “twerking” and burning calories with my girls, without having to be in the hot a** club, sounds like a great night! Recently, I was introduced to “LexTwerkOut” and I instantly thought “GNO” (girls night out). Created by dancer Lexy Panterra, the workout/dance class brings women of all shapes and sizes together for a fun, flirty and freeing experience. Just take a look…

Clearly, not everyone is at an A+ level, but they’re all having fun. Unfortunately, “LexTwerkOut” is only in California, but you and your girls can sign up for a hip hop class or even a ballet class and you’re bound to have a blast.

2. Get your chef on.
Everybody loves to eat, but not everybody can cook. No problem though, Sur La Table is here to help. They offer great group cooking classes, plus they even have a class called “Girls Night Out: Summer Small Plates”. But don’t let the name fool you…the plates may be “small” but they’re packed with BIG flavor. Here’s the menu…

Seared Shrimp with Chile and Mint – Tequila-Mustard Glazed Chicken Skewers with Pineapple Salsa – White Bean and Kale Crostini with Crispy Prosciutto – Sweet Corn Fritters with Arugula-Walnut Pesto

Yes, you read right. You and your girlies will be cooking all of that! Still on the fence? Well, here’s a description of what to expect, straight from the folks at Sur La Table.

What To Expect:

Great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

Learn fundamental skills for a lifetime of great cooking
Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish
Interact with classmates and the instructor for a rich learning experience
Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student enjoys a generous taste of every dish
Held in our professional teaching kitchens, each class is led by an experienced chef instructor
Hands-on classes are limited to 16 participants
Students receive a 10% discount coupon to use the week after the class

3. Lastly, get your drink on!
After all that food, you’re inevitably going to want a little (or big) libation. Instead of hitting the bar, hit up another class. Every major city has a cocktail class where you and your chicas can create your own signature drink, while learning how to make some of the staples (Vodka Cran, anyone?). And if the hard liquor isn’t your thing, a nice day of wine tasting may hit the spot. Most wineries only charge 12-20 bucks for a tour and 3-4 samples. Either way, you’re in for a lite buzz and lots of fun with your friends.

oh yea, drink responsibly 😉

Obsessed! Baby Moccasins Are Everything

2 words. Baby. Moccasins.

They may be completely unnecessary and totally a trend, but we don’t care. These cute little shoes are the must have item for the 5 and under crowd. Our fave fringe fashion statement comes from Freshly Picked. With 36 colors and a few different fabrics to choose from, Freshly Picked has the baby moccasin game on lock.  Take a look at a few of our favorite colors…

The FP look retails for $60 — we know, we know…kinda pricey for a baby shoe. Don’t worry, if you’re looking to pay a little less, but still get a great shoe check out the Minntonka Moccasin priced at $21.95. Not as many colors to choose from (beige, brown, pink and purple are your options), but the shoe is still super cute and it’s less than half the price of a Freshly Picked pair.

Thoughts? Lance Gross Takes Nude Pregnancy Pics Of Fiancée

Heyyy, Lance Gross and his fiancée, Rebecca Jefferson are expecting their first child!

Our friends at broke the story last week and Lance took to Instagram on Wednesday to confirm the happy news.

GOD has Gifted me. It’s like I get to unwrap you daily. Your presence continues to bring me joy each time without exhaustion. I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU. I Turned My Camera On @becjefferson 🙂

First of all, Bec looks beautiful. Clearly, she is going to be a SASY Mom! But, the big question is, how do you feel about nudie preggo pics? We’re totally here for it — let us tell you why.

1. If you have the courage to be photographed while naked AND in your third trimester, we salute you.

2. A pregnant woman is one of the most beautiful things in the world. It’s only right to capture such beauty in its most natural form.

3. Who cares?! It’s your body, your picture and in the case of Rebecca, it was her man that took the photo. They should display it in a 20 x 30 right in their living room.

However, on the flip side some folks hate the idea of a bare baby bump. Is that you? Are you a nudie preggo pic hater? Tell us why in our comment section below.

Product Review: Honest Thoughts About The Honest Company

After a free trial of 7 diapers and 10 wipes, what do I honestly think about The Honest Company?

Well, let’s look at the pros. When choosing a sustainable and toxin-free product to cover your little baby’s booty the options are limited, but Jessica Alba’s Honest Company stands out from the very small pack. Do they work? YES! During the day, my 1 year-old daughter, Charlie is constantly running, climbing, falling and everything in between, but those Honest diapers stayed in place and did the job. Even overnight was no contest for the diaper…not a leak in sight (apparently, they have some “securely fitting moisture barrier cuff” to prevent leakage…ummm, wharves). On top of that, my daughter has eczema, but there wasn’t a rash in sight when using THC diaper…I really appreciate that! Plus, can I just say how cute the diapers are?! They come in several colors and patterns for boys and girls. Oh, and I can’t forget about the wipes…thick, durable, super soft AND easy clean ups!

Unfortunately, with every pro comes a con (or two). If you want to go green it’s gonna cost you. The Honest Company offers a few different options, but claims the bundle is the best bargain. For $79.95 per month, Alba and Co. will send you six jumbo packs of diapers and four packs of wipes (each pack contains 22-40 diapers, see chart below). If you just want to grab one box, then head to Target and drop $25.99 (size 4, 60 count). In comparison, another sustainable brand, Seventh Generation goes for $18.99 at Target (size 4, 54 count). FYI: I’ve tried Seventh Generation and experienced a few leak issues and the brown paper bag look isn’t to SASY…plus, the wipes were kinda dry.

Overall, I have to admit I was pleased with The Honest Company and pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend the diapers and wipes and I’m seriously considering signing up for the monthly delivery. When I do the math, the $80 price tag is comparable to what I spend on diapers and wipes monthly, anyway. Plus, I’m a sucker for stylish diapers!

Sidenote: It’s worth mentioning that before trying out The Honest Company, I thought they were over-priced, over-hyped, unnecessary celebrity diapers and I was getting ready to curse Jessica Alba for being money hungry. After the free trial, I totally get it. Going “green” may be popular, but it’s far from a fad. It’s time I get on board with helping Mother Earth.
