OK, no, I’m not Oprah, but it is Black Friday and since many of us will be in a shopping frenzy I am choosing to help my mama friends out and reveal my 5 favorite items of the year!

1. Nintendo: NES Classic Edition

It’s not hard to see why this is on the list. From a nostalgic stand point, it takes me back to my carefree days as a youth. But, now I can relive that feeling with my kiddo and they get to see what video games looked like ‘way back then’ LOL. Plus, this Nintendo comes equipped with 30 games already stored on it and it’s only $59.99. Good luck trying to find one though … they’re sold out everywhere and folks are selling them on Amazon for 300 bucks! But if you get your hands on one, it’s the perfect gift for you little one and you. Win-Win!

2. Handstand Kitchen

Hours of fun for you and your little one! My mom and Charlie B. had a blast with the Handstand Kitchen Deluxe Baking Set. CB has been wanting to learn more about cooking and this was a great way to get her involved without having to stress about her breaking bowls, chipping plates or anything else a three-year-old can do in the kitchen. This set, comes with tons of stuff like a spatula, pastry brush, whisk, silicone bundt cake mold, silicone loaf pan, 6 silicone baking cups, 8 recipe cards and more. The Deluxe Baking Set retails for $40.00 but there are other sets too like the pizza kit and cookies for Santa set, and since it’s the national shopping holiday you can get 40% off using the code “BLACKFRIDAY”.

3. Adult Coloring Books

Excuse the vulgar language. Actually, don’t excuse it. As mothers we often have to withhold certain words from our little ones, but if you have a potty mouth like me, it can be hard. Now, you can get your swear words out, without saying a word. Adult coloring books are an actual thing now, and like this one, create the opportunity for grown-ups to de-stress through coloring. It is everything! Plus, as long as your kiddo can’t read yet, you guys can color together. Two birds, one stone. Although, you don’t have to get the curse word one, there’s a large variety to choose from.

4. Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf

Got a special lady in your life? Get her this! It smells amazing. She will love it, and you. Thank me later 🙂

5. Amazon Prime

This is the gift that keeps on giving … and no, this is not an ad. I really do love Amazon!
You can actually gift someone with a Prime account which includes streaming (music & video) and free two-day shipping on most items. It’s 99 bucks for a year, but if you’re like me and LOVE online shopping, then it pays for it’s self pretty quickly. It’s convenient, quick, easy and perfect for parents who have limited time, but a long to-do list.
