Of course, as grown ups Valentine’s Day is all about wining, dining and romance — but what about our little ones? Forget the days of generic V-day cards from the grocery store with superheroes on them, this year step it up a notch and get creative!

Pinterest (the best place on Earth!) directed me to the NurtureStore website which boast 250+ Valentine ideas. But, because you don’t have time to sift through TWO HUNDRED posts about cupid, I did all the hard work for you.

Depending on the age of your little one a sensory box could be a great idea to help develop motor skills and sensory perception in younger children. Also, creating a time capsule could be a yearly tradition or a one time thing. In honor of V-Day, fill the capsule with things you love and open it years down the line.

Happy Valentine’s Day! xo
