Have you ever taken note of how many sippy cups there are on the market? It feels like a trillion! But every so often, you stumble across one that is a bit different than the rest. Let me introduce you to the Poli sippy cup!

I’m sure you’re saying, ‘what makes this one so different?’ Well, let me tell you … it’s all about the “easy to clean/no parts to lose” design. This is the only cup we own that doesn’t require disassembly in order to wash and that is a God send!

While Charlie B. tried out the cup for a few days, I took notes and can give you my honest feedback. There were lots of pros, but just one con.

PROS
1. Did I mention the “easy to clean/no parts to lose” design! I’m always looking for ways to simplify life and this helps. It’s super easy to get in and wash those small/tight spots and you don’t have to worry about losing a tiny piece down the drain.

2. It’s practically spill-proof. Even with Charlie B. turning, twisting and tipping the cups there was very little spillage.

3. It’s made in the USA…LOVE that :) Plus, it’s BPA and phthalate free AND created by a mom just like us!

CONS
1. Only one con for us and that was the flow. While it was easy for Charlie B. to get liquid from the cup, it wasn’t always enough to satisfy her and at times she got a bit frustrated. Since the cup is for 8 months and older, and Charlie B. is 18 months, I believe she may be just a little advanced for the flow level.

Note: The spout is an ergonomic design that is made of a harder material that is resistant to chewing and bite marks. While for parents it’s a pro, some little ones may not like it and consider it a con.

Here’s a couple of pic of Charlie B. and her Poli sippy cup! She has the “Twinkle, Twinkle” design, but they also come in “Hey Diddle, Diddle” and “Humpty Dumpty”, plus they were all hand drawn and colored by the mother who created the cup. ¬†Find out more about Poli sippy cups on their website www.usapoli.com.
